SwissPack is highly respected and well established manufacturer and export of finest quality degassing valves. Our one-way degassing valves are highly designed to allow pressure to be released from an air-tight packet whereas averting air from getting reverse into the package. Actually, the oxygen (O2) in the air can badly affect the packaged products and spoil its freshness. These degassing valves are most commonly applicable on packaging of fresh roasted coffee, pharma items, yeast fermented products and many other products which need to be prevented from air and moisture.
We use high grade materials such as PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride), CPVC (Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride), natural polypropylene and PVDF (Poly Vinyl Dene Fluoride). Valve body touch the air-tight package and holds the filter and rubber disc. Filter in the degassing valve prevents tiny particles from obstructing the valve. Rubber disc present in the degassing valve sticks with the valve body through an oil layer.
The degassing valves manufactured by SwissPack are highly applicable for packaging of roasted coffee. Actually, roasted coffee releases Co2 for many days after the packaging. It needs to be protected from moisture in order to retain its original taste. To meet this requirement, we have invented high quality and highly functional degassing valves which release the air out, but not inside the packet. These valves reduce the oxidative degradation of roasted coffee and maintain its taste and extend its shelf life.
We also offer the degassing valves for jumbo bags which release excess of air and save space. While operating the valve, it should open at minimum opening pressure otherwise the package will burst. The valve should be closed at minimum closing pressure which helps to prevent oxygen diffusion. The gas insides the package should be able to flow throughout the valve at a speed enough to vacate the package as required for a specified production environment.
